Sunsmart
With today's awareness of melanoma, it is the school's policy for hats, with brims, to be worn for protection during intervals, lunchtimes and all sports and P.E. activities. Our advice is for children to wear clothing that will give shoulders adequate sun protection e.g T-shirts rather than strap tops. Children are encouraged to be responsible for Sunsmart protection by having their own personal supply of sunscreen.
The School Office, as a service, sells sunscreen during Terms 4 and 1 of each year.
