Accidents at School

The utmost care is taken to prevent your child suffering an accident at school but at times, they are unavoidable.  

If a child is injured they are treated by first aiders, usually in the school's Medical Room.  All incidents, apart from minor cuts, grazes, bumps and bruises, are recorded in the school’s Accident Register.  For accidents that may be more than minor, and for all head and mouth impacts, a copy of the Accident Register entry is emailed to parents.  If the child is not able to remain at school or needs further treatment, a parent will be rung.

It is therefore important that the school always has up to date contact information for our students, particularly phone numbers and email addresses.  Please notify the school office of any changes to these details as and when they occur.
