Sunsmart

With today's awareness of melanoma, it is the school's policy for school uniform hats, which are brimmed, to be worn for protection during intervals, lunchtimes and all sports and P.E. activities and is in fact compulsory during Terms 1 and 4.  Hats are available to purchase from the school's uniform supplier, Dot Neimann Leisurewear and also from the school office.

Henley School is an accredited NZ Cancer Society SunSmart School.

Children are encouraged to be responsible for Sunsmart protection by having their own personal supply of 30+ sunscreen.
