Term 1 2026 Tuesday 3 February to Thursday 2 April (84 1/2 days)
Term 2 2026 Monday 20 April to Friday 3 July (104 1/2 days - excluding the Teacher Only Day)
Term 3 2026 Monday 20 July to Friday 25 September (100 1/2 days)
Term 4 2026 Monday 12 October to Tuesday 15 December (90 1/2 days - excluding the Teacher Only Day)

The Ministry of Education requires Primary Schools to be open for 378 half days of instruction for 2026

2026 Teacher Only Days (granted by the Ministry of Education)
The Minister of Education, Hon Erica Stanford, has approved two Teacher Only Days for 2026. The purpose is to support staff with planning and professional learning for curriculum and assessment changes.
Our two MOE Teacher Only Days for 2026 are on Friday 29th May (King’s Birthday Weekend) and Tuesday 27th October (Labour Weekend).
